~ A Gathering With My XueJi Fellows @ Pique Nique ~

I always feel the world is so small yet so big. Haha, I accidentally bumped into Kah Seng once therefore we decided to arrange a dinner out together with Raymond. And of course I was the one who decide the venue since I always hunting for new places, haha. Wanted to try Pique Nique for very long time and now here comes the chance! xD

Located at the basement of Takashimaya, Pique Nique serves variety of American comfort food from all day breakfast to desserts such as brownies, which make customers spoilt for choice.This place is always crowded, so try to avoid those peak hours if you don't wanna queue for too long!

It is a beautifully furnished cafe with nice decorations. The most unique part is

With a simple dream, a hunch of innocence, and a best friend. Zakka Loft was born. Zakka Loft brings to all a handcrafting way of life. The term Zakka is derived from the Japanese word "Zak-ka" (杂货), which is the common objects that we use everyday to enhance our lifestyle.

I know there are more and more cafes in Singapore now, and somehow cafe hopping has becoming a trend recently. And surprisingly cafes are sprouting out in my hometown - Ipoh too.

~ A Surprise Found In Katong : Rabbit Carrot Gun ~

Rabbit Carrot Gun, a quaint place which just located along the East Coast Road, is a surprise found for me since I only went there to try the famous Katong Laksa, haha. Heard of the name but never really go and find out where exactly it is, and unexpectedly it just appeared in front of us that day. =)

Eat, Drink, Sleep. Or as they said, 'Manducare Bibere Somno'. A smile or two, with a morsel or three, and a tipple or four. And a fine feathered pillow in a burrow made of dreams.

It's been a week since I last updated my blog, sorry for the delay but am really trying my best to update as soon as I can! =) Anyway, I was away for the last weekend back to my lovely hometown - Ipoh! And to my surprise, there are a lot of cafes opened in Ipoh now! *excited*

Definitely will blog about my gathering with my old friends while exploring the new cafes there soon, hehe. xD But..but..but...way before this, I met up with one of my old friend, Siu, who is also one of the girls from the group of gals I usually hang out with. =)

It happened that she came Singapore because she needs to attend her relatives' wedding here, so I got this opportunity to meet up with her. After a few discussions, we decided to meet for lunch @ Chinatown Point where her hotel just nearby.
