Again, this was a quite "ancient" post, haha. But anyway, I finally went to have a DINNER at Hoshino Coffee in Plaza Singapura! Why do I make this sounds like something very exciting?
Wells, it was because I went to this place for a few times, but only for some tea times, didn't really try out their food. Heard from my colleagues and friends that their curry rice definitely is a must try, and finally the chance came! xD
Of course you all can refer HERE for my another visit to Hoshino previously. =) I decided to order the "Hoshino" Pot-Baked Curry Rice (SGD 15.00) since a lot of people recommend this dish.

~ Cafe Hunting To A Hidden Gem In Toa Payoh : Creamier ~
Again, this is also another late post of my cafe hunting but yeah, I did tried my best to update most of them now. =) I've heard of this place or rather, saw the review of it online and definitely know that everybody LOVE the waffle and ice-cream from Creamier! *excited*
But the visit seemed to have the "urge" (I think) to travel all the way down to the North side since I'm staying at the East side of Singapore (yeah, you may said that I'm not keen but seriously, I'm quite lazy and don't really fond of traveling far during weekend, lol). And finally, when Melissa said that she can bring me there since she lived around that area and since I've wanted to hang out with her other than during work so why not? xD

~ Coffee With Cute Latte Art @ Chock Full Of Beans, Changi Village ~
It's really paiseh for me only to blog about this cafe now cuz it was a super long time ago that I paid visit to chock full of beans in Changi Village. >.< But anyway, the main reason that attract me to this place is their super adorable latte art!! =)
That day me, Connie and her bf, Keinth, we all went to the travel fair at expo. Since we were already at the east side so we decided to go to Changi Village. After we had a quite sumptous dinner at the Changi Village Food Centre, we headed to Chock Full Of Beans for our coffee and desserts fixing. xD

~ A Non-Strangers' Reunion @ Strangers' Reunion ~
Strangers' Reunion, when this cafe first came across my head, I was like: "Wow, the name is so interesting!" But what really captured my attention was mainly positive reviews of the food and coffee there, and ALMOST everyone recommend that the waffle there is a MUST TRY!! =)
So I just can't seems to find a reason of not going there and try their food and coffee out. I instantly regret of NOT paying a visit to this cafe earlier! Their food were quite up to standard and the coffee and waffles they served definitely is AWESOME!! =)
It was a casual Friday after work evening, me and Mandy, her bf and Ah Fui decided to meet up for dinner. Of course I would suggest Strangers' Reunion! xD It is located at Kampong Bahru Road which is nearer to Outram Park station. Here's a small reminder for you guys: It's much nearer to walk from the exit of Purple Line instead of the Green Line. =)

~ A Pretend-To-Be-Hardworking Dinner @ Miam Miam, Bugis ~
It was a quite impromptu dinner date as I really didn't had any plan that day but then I suddenly received whatsapp from Janessa asking whether wanna meet for dinner or not. Of course I'll said YES! Then the dinner just set with total 6 of us, Janessa, her bf Royce, Connie, her bf Keinth, Yuki and me! =)
The dinner was set at Bugis so we decided to head for Miam Miam as we never tried it out before. Miam Miam is the combination of French artisanal cuisine and Japanese culinary. And I saw a lot of people highly recommended their French Toast as one the must-try when you are there but unfortunately we didn't ordered that. Will reveal more later on. =/
Anyway, before I proceed with my post, I got one photo I wanted to post, haha! My friends sent me their pic showing that they were all waiting for me and asked me to hurry!! Wells, since you guys sent me that, I think I shall posted it here for sharing! HAHA. xD

~ Affordable & Nice Western Cuisine @ Rice And Fries ~
It was a hot Sunday evening and I decided to meet Yuki (who was still in Singapore that time) for dinner. I've met her up in Kembangan since she stayed there and while we're still being indecisive of what to eat for dinner, suddenly I thought about this cafe called "Rice and Fries". =)
I remembered that one of the blogger review that I read stated that this place located within walking distance from Kembangan MRT station, when I still had no idea where is it as we tried to walk to somewhere near the Kembangan Plaza (where I have my Korean lessons there), suddenly I spotted it!!! Hahaha, lucky me! It's just located opposite the road behind Kembangan Plaza. =)

~ A Dinner Date With Madam Kwan + Desserts Date With Max Brenner ~
Wanted to put a date with Madam Kwan after rejected by dear Mr Jamie Oliver as the title of this post, but sounds too odd, haha! Ok, the story is actually like this: Initially I wanna go to Jamie's Italian restaurant but end up the waitress came out and told me we need to wait for 2 hours plus, which is INSANELY LONG!! >.< So end up we gave up and went to Madam Kwan's instead.
Anyway, this is not the main point. The main point is: I finally meet up with my long-time-no-see-friend, Connie! =) Got to know that she just came Singapore to work and been trying to ask her out for quite some time, and finally we made it!! xD So happy to meet an old friend here. =)
We were quite worried that we might need to wait for quite long

~ A Dinner With Desserts Only @ Wimbly Lu Chocolate Cafe ~
Wimbly Lu Chocolate Cafe, a cafe that located in Jalan Riang at Seranggon is famous for its desserts especially waffles. It is one of the place that I wanted to go but can't seemed to find a chance. Then surprisingly when I was asking my friend, Shernet where should we go for our next meet up, she suggested Wimbly Lu! xD A million YES, of course! I can't wait to explore and try out the desserts there, haha.
Wimbly Lu is much "ulu" than I thought, unless you got a car or cab down there, or else it isn't that easy to find. It located in the middle of some residential area, mind you, is those terrace houses, not HDB, lol. Excitement instantly filled me up once I reached there as I saw the whole cafe already in Christmas decorations! xD I have to admit that Christmas is my favourite festives of all times. =)

~ Always...Have A Plan B ~
Had a short getaway not long ago (will have a post about my short getaway soon! ^.^) and finally get a chance to try out this Plan B restaurant. Plan B got a few outlets in KL such as in Bangsar Village, One Utama, Paradigm Mall, etc., and I went to the Mid Valley one.
Heard of this Plan B before cuz they just opened their first outlet in Ipoh not long ago. But still, I could hardly get the chance to try it out since I mostly won't be eating out when I'm in Ipoh. (Of course gonna eat my mum's home-cooked food when I'm back in Ipoh! xD)
The place was crowded even though by the time we reached there is already around 2pm. *faint* Fortunately we don't have to wait for long to be seated. The place is spacious and have this modern feeling, and they also have alfresco dining area! =)

~ Truffs - A Hidden Gem In CBD Area ~
Thanks to my office's weekly one hour off recently, I got more opportunities to explore the hidden cafe or makan places around my office area, and Truffs is one of them. I really wouldn't notice this place if I didn't look up for the shophouses on 2nd storey. (Will try to look up more in case I'm going to miss out anymore nice place afterwards. >.<)
A collaboration between Outofstock design studio and Truffs, the Truffs cafe provide customers a space to hide away and savour delectable treats while enjoying the handcrafted designs by Outofstock. The Truffs offered a menu of their signature cakes and truffles paired with gourmet tea and locally roasted coffee.
The Truffs located at the 2nd storey of some shophouses nearby Ahmoy food centre. The cafe is spacious and the interior is quite simple. Simple doesn't mean not nice right? Haha.

~ Spend Some Alonetime @ Selfish Gene Cafe ~
Selfish Gene Cafe, such an interesting name isn't it? Haha, will tell you guys more about their name later on. Usually I seldom (or almost never?) will go to a cafe alone, but that day I managed to do so!! Hahaha, kinda happy about it, lol. (Can considered as an achievement for successfully taking the first step!! =P)
Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of a crowd area, this cafe located somewhere at Outram/Tanjong Pagar area. Guess you must be wondering why they name the place "Selfish Gene". They had always been rather selfish when come to food, not that never or unwilling to share the food, but rather they will not serve anyone food that he would not eat himself.
Although my friend told me that it would be easier if I walk from Outram MRT station but since I'm already in Raffles Place, so might as well I just walked to Tanjong Pagar and start from there?

~ Old Buddies Gathering @ Hoshino Coffee(星乃咖啡店) ~
Mr. Woo (a.k.a Ah Fui) asked for a short meet up (yum cha) on a Sunday afternoon. Since none of us (four of us actually) intended to travel far, so I suggested to meet in town instead. After a lunch in Xin Wang Hong Kong Restaurant @ Plaza Singapura, we decided to head for some tea time!
After roaming a while in Plaza Singapura, we finally decided to settle our tea time at this place called Hoshino Coffee, which located at the new extension of Plaza Singapura. Even though it is no longer a new restaurant around, but the queue is still snakingly long! >.<
Hoshino Coffee is well known for its hand dripped coffee and the fluffy souffle pancakes. And I heard that Hoshino Coffee also served good japanese style pasta,

~ A Chillax Afternoon @ Vanilla Bar & Cafe ~
Thanks to the new weekly one hour off thing in my company, I've finally got this chance to try out this Vanilla Bar & Cafe which just located somewhere near my office. Saw my colleague paid a visit to this cafe and am attracted by their signature dessert - The Vanilla Dirt Cake! So since I got two hours lunch break, why not just fully utilized my time and try it out? xD
Tucked in a quaint shophouse in a quiet corner of Boon Tat street, Vanilla Bar & Cafe provides delectable Japanese fusion comfort food, premium coffee and serves as a cocktail bar in the evenings. The interior of the cafe has a strong japanese influence, surprisingly..

~ L'Atelier Tirami Su : The Tiramisu Workshop ~
Tiramisu, what's on your mind when you saw this word? I bet most of us will have this a mix of smooth cheesy and coffee tasted cake in mind right? xD I myself is a superb fan of tiramisu, miss u miss u~~ LOL
Tiramisu comes from the word Tirami and Su which literally means "pick me up" or "make me happy" in Italian. As it's name suggests, this cake would perk up even tired and weary souls.
After having my late brunch with my friends, we decided to go for some desserts. I've saw the reviews online about this little cafe that have one of the best tiramisu in Singapore, and I've been craving for tiramisu for almost a week (Guess this is the major reason, haha!) , therefore I've suggested to give it a try!

~ Cafe Hunting : Symmetry Cafe ~
It was on a Saturday afternoon where me and my friends just finished lunch at Lavender Food Square. This place sounds familiar right? Haha, yeah again, we went there for the prawn mee there since I promised Jermaine to bring her and tried it out, together with her cousin. =) Anyway, we decided to go for somewhere to chill and I suggested to go to this Symmetry Cafe that I saw from this cafe hopping blog.
The Symmetry Cafe located somewhere in between Lavender and Bugis, more accurately, it is located at the Jalan Kubor, opposite Santa Grand Hotel Bugis. It is a super "indie" cafe, it just gives you the indie feel, be it on the looking or the style of the cafe.

~A Contradicting Day Of Food Hunting @ Lavender~
It was an impromptu dinner whereby my friend initially was only asking out for a "yum-cha" session, then it just turned out to be a food hunting since the other friend of mine, Mandy saying that she wanna brought us to try the famous prawn mee in lavender area.
This prawn mee is located inside Lavender Food Square, probably one of those places you would least expected to find good food. But this prawn mee also recommended by Miss Tam Chiak, you can check out from her blog, which is also how Mandy found out about this prawn mee.
The prawn mee isn't that expensive, only 5 dollars each and they got a few different kind of servings. They have prawn mee+scallop, prawn mee+pork ribs or prawn mee+pigtails. And of course I chose the prawn mee+scallop! :)
